
PhD Human Nutrition and Dietetics
Admission Criteria
Admission to the PhD in Human Nutrition and Dietetics requires applicants to hold an MS/MPhil degree in Human Nutrition & Dietetics, Food Science, Biochemistry, Public Health, or a closely related field from an HEC-recognized University, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or 60% marks in the annual examination system) in the MS/MPhil degree.
Candidates must also possess a valid HEC-approved GAT (General) Subject Test score or pass a university-based admission test with a minimum of 60% marks.
Additionally, applicants are required to submit an initial research proposal or concept note outlining their intended area of study, followed by a successful departmental interview to assess their research aptitude, subject-matter expertise, and alignment with available faculty supervision.
