Intermediate classes are also known as classes 11th and 12th, respectively. The relevant educational boards of Pakistan conduct the (annual) final examination for these academically decisive years and call it the Higher Secondary School Certificate. These examinations are conducted separately for intermediate part I and part II. Just like any other examination, some of the students also fail to pass these annual examinations. Hence, they have to reappear in the intermediate supplementary exam. Intermediate Supplementary Exam

The Intermediate Supplementary Exam in Lahore has started for 2025. These are also known as the second annuals.
